Cute top but underwire is a bit odd

I really liked this top and am hoping to make it work still--I got it on sale so it can't be returned. It's great overall, but the underwire is a bit awkward; I think it's perhaps intended for smaller chested wearers--I got a small, and my bra size is 34B. I think if you have an A cup or something it would be fine though. The print is lovely though, and it seems to be well made overall.
