Shipping & Made-To-Order




We do made-to order items as a special way of allowing our customer to be the first to order & receive an item that is in production. We take pride in a slow fashion model & want all of our products to be created & produced with care and artisanship. We care deeply about our planet and do not like to contribute to the waste that fast fashion creates.

Our Clothing is created using reprocessed material that has been repurposed for each of our unique patterns & styles. The detail, thought and intention behind every piece of Clothing we make is to bring you a unique timeless, versatile, but truly limited style you can feel gorgeous in. While at the same time doing our part to help this beautiful planet of ours using a slow fashion model.

The majority of our jewelry is manufactured in India and The United States. We take our time to make sure that production of each jewelry piece is of highest quality and is produced & shipped in an ethical & stress-free manner. We have recently switched factories from China to India and California and you may experience some delays if your made-to-ordered an item prior to Feb 1st. Our new factories are working to make your order and we will be shipping as soon as each piece becomes available to us.

When you purchase a made-to-order item, you will need to allow between 1-3 months for the product to be produced and shipped to you. We are unable to give updates on when your order will arrive before the 1-3 months’ time frame. But be assured it is being created with love and great attention to detail. We promise you will receive it as soon as it is completed & is ready to ship. In most cases our made-to-order items will ship even sooner than the 1-3 month window.

Domestic orders that contain made-to-order items will be split into two shipments. All available items will ship within our normal shipping times, and all made-to-order items will ship within 1-3 months. We will hold the made-to-order items until all of the made-to-order items contained in your order have arrived to us. These will be shipped all at one time to the customer. 

International orders that contain made-to-order items, will be held in full until the made-to-order item(s) is in stock and is available to ship with the rest of the order. 

All in stock orders are eligible for a cancellation within 24 hours of placing your order, as long as they have not already shipped. To cancel an order, please email with 'your order number/ cancel order' in the subject line. After 24 hours, orders cannot be cancelled, no exceptions. Please reach out to us as soon as possible if you have any questions regarding your order.

Only selected products will be available for made-to-order. The expected delivery period will be noted in the description of the product. Please familiarise yourself with the following made-to-order terms before completing your purchase: At the time you place your order, you will be required to pay the full RRP to secure your made-to-order purchase. Due to the made-to-order nature of this type of transaction, you should expect a delayed period between the purchase of the product & the actual delivery of the product.

Delivery dates are subject to change & our customer care team will be in touch should there be any unexpected delays with your order. Standard return & exchange policies apply to all made-to-orders. Should you wish to cancel your made-to-order email us at . Please note that we can not cancel made-to-orders within 48 hours of their shipment.

Items that are marked "Final Sale" or "Made to order" are not eligible for return. These items cannot be returned for refund or credit regardless of how much time has passed since purchase. All "Final Sale" and "Made to order" items are marked as such on the product page. Promo codes or sale coupon codes can not be applied against items on final sale.

Shipment delays may occur from time to time when purchasing "Made to order" items. Customers who order "Made to order" items recognise this and are acknowledged they are unable to request cancellation, returns or refunds because of "Made to order" shipment delays.

Package Lost / Stolen / Damaged

If a package has been delivered to the shipping address provided at checkout, we are not responsible if that package is lost or stolen after delivery. We understand that having a package taken from your residence is frustrating, however it is the customer's responsibility to know typical delivery times of postal workers in your neighborhood, and make sure someone is available to receive the package.

Please choose the correct shipping method if you have concerns of package theft or loss. Our Free Priority Shipping option is provided by USPS, which does not include comprehensive insurance or signature confirmation. If you would like these safeguards added to your shipment, we suggest choosing a FedEx option at checkout.

If your package is lost in transit this is the carrier's responsibility. In this case you may reach out to the carrier directly for assistance. If your package was insured, send us an email right away at and we can file a claim.

Where We Ship

We ship anywhere in the United States and most International countries. Orders ship from our California warehouse within the United States.

Orders will ship within 5-7 business days, often sooner. Express shipping options will be shipped same day if placed before Noon EST during normal sales volume periods. During high-volume sales periods, your order may take up to 10 business days to ship. We appreciate your patience with our small team!

Please note that we do not ship on weekends or US holidays.

US orders valued at $250 or higher will require signature upon delivery.

DISCLAIMER: Any expedited US shipping deals (including, but not limited to, Free FedEx 2-Day Shipping) apply to In Stock items only. Orders containing pre-order items will be split, and the in-stock items will ship promptly. Held pre-order items will ship with our standard USPS Priority shipping once items are available.

We cannot guarantee that you will receive your package within the expected time frame, as estimated delivery dates are used as a guide only. We also cannot be held responsible for any delays, missing, lost or stolen packages incurred by our couriers, once it has left our facility. If there is an issue with your delivery please contact your courier service directly.

International Shipping

We use DHL and FedEx carriers for International shipments. Vanessa Mooney Jewelry is not responsible for any lost packages shipped via your country's Postal Service. 

International Shipping rates are calculated at checkout and can vary widely in price depending on the destination and service chosen. We offer an economy rate and an expedited rate where possible.

Please note: Jewelry can sometimes be delayed going through customs, which may add time to your delivery.

All customs and duty fees are the customer's responsibility to pay. Duties and taxes vary by country. Please contact your local customs office if you have any questions regarding the duty fees for your shipment. Shipping costs are non-refundable, which includes returns, packages rejected upon arrival, and/or failure to pay duty fees.

If a package is returned to us due to the customer refusing to pay duties, the customer is responsible for the duty fees of import back into the US. We will refund your order minus the duty fees
